Michael Kutsche creates work very similar to what I would like to do. Most of it is kind of sci-fi-ish or just weird, while other pieces are humorous and cartoonish to some degree. The delivery of color is fantastic, it's all very vivid however in many of his pieces he focuses on the use of one vivid color. I find more and more that I am drawn to strange and vivid pieces. I also find that my definitions for terms like vivid are expanded all the time, for example a piece that is black and white can still be vivid but could also be described as dramatic as well. It's interesting to me how my mind continues to reshape and reform what I thought I knew, though it seems the more I learn from other artists the less I am sure of myself.
